English Literature

Vision:- 

To foster English competence and  stimulate imagination and critical thinking of the students through teaching and research and to develop the Department as a center for Academic Excellence and High Quality Research. 

Mission:-

-To educate the students to read critically, write clearly and imaginatively, and think logically and articulately about literature and language.

-To promote critical literacy, that is the capacity to interpret, evaluate and contextualize the texts.

-To develop research acumen in the students.

-To sensitize students towards English Language and English Literature.

-To stimulate English Language Learning in the Students.

-To encourage English Communication among the students.
