The CentralLibrary of Shri Kuleshwar MahadevGovernment College, Gobra Nawapara, Raipur (C.G.) serves as theintellectual and academic resource centre of the institution. It provides anenriching learning environment that supports teaching, learning, research, andextension activities. The library is committed to fostering a culture ofreading, critical thinking, innovation, and lifelong learning among studentsand faculty members.

The library maintains a well-organizedcollection of approximately 12500 bookscovering the curricula of undergraduate programmes B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., DCA, and PGDCA, along with postgraduateprogrammes in Hindi Literature,Political Science, Economics, Geography, Chemistry, and M.Com. Thecollection includes textbooks, reference books, competitive examination guides,general reading materials, and subject-specific resources.

To support academic and research activities, thelibrary subscribes to printed journalsand provides access to e-journals.The college is also a member of N-LIST(National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for ScholarlyContent) under INFLIBNET,enabling students and faculty members to access thousands of e-books,e-journals, and other digital academic resources from reputed national andinternational publishers.

In order to uphold research ethics and academicintegrity, the college library provides access to DrillBit Plagiarism Detection Software. This facility assistsfaculty members and research scholars in checking the originality of researchpapers, dissertations, project reports, and other academic documents beforesubmission or publication.

The library also subscribes to leading Hindi and English daily newspapers andmaintains a dedicated Magazine Section,encouraging students to remain informed about current affairs, competitiveexaminations, literature, science, and contemporary issues.

To ensure inclusive access to educationalresources, the library manages both the SC/STBook Bank and the BPL Book Bank,through which eligible students are provided textbooks and reference materialsfree of cost for the academic session.

The readingroom, with a seating capacity of approximately 40 students, offers a peaceful and student-friendly atmosphere forreading, self-study, and academic preparation. The library staff provideguidance in locating information resources and accessing both print and digitalservices.

The Central Library continues to strengthen theacademic ecosystem of the college by integrating conventional library serviceswith modern digital resources, thereby supporting quality education, research,and holistic student development.
